The 2019 vintage of our Imperial Stout once again took the Red Cat brewery to the absolute limits. They crammed in as much malt as they could physically fit into their mash tun to create a heady mix of luscious bitter-sweet chocolate, cold-brewed coffee, molasses and dried fruit. Drunk young, this beer offers punchy fruit notes and a satisfying warmth from the alcohol, however this will develop beautifully as the structure softens and the complexity of the malt flavours really shine.
